The Second Mile Project is dedicated to organizing volunteer events that foster hope, kindness, and action.
The inspiration behind The Second Mile Project comes from Matthew 5:41 "If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles."
This verse embodies our mission, emphasizing that a life defined by doing “just enough” is a small life. It is in the second mile—where we give more, love deeply, and go beyond ourselves—that we discover true purpose, connection, and fulfillment.

Blessing Bags for the Displaced

Join us for our first community service event, where we'll be packing essential items for the displaced across NYC in "Blessing Bags." This event is all about coming together to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. We'll be assembling bags filled with toiletries, non-perishable snacks, socks, and other necessities that can provide comfort and support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to help. We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet like-minded individuals, give back to the community, and make a meaningful impact. Let's show our support and spread some kindness together!
